MSB Episode 8: Peter and Pluto and Hilda, OH MY!

In this episode, Jacob visits Disneyland for the Fourth of July.  We discuss our likes and our oddities that we find in the Soundsational Parade.  We take flight over London and around Neverland in the newly reopened Peter Pan's Flight and catch an amazing band in Tomorrowland Terrence.  Get ready to travel with us down Main Street and Beyond!  Come on Everybody - Here we go!

Hey Main Streeters!  Jacob here - Now, I love a parade and no one does a parade better than Disney.  I was able to really stand back (no pun intended) and take in the amazing Soundsational parade.  After watching it for several times now, I had a few thoughts and didn't know if anyone has noticed or felt this before?

Cinderella was breathtaking and a strong contender for Cast Member of the Day. She made everyone on that parade route feel special and she was stunningly beautiful.

I got a chance to check out the Tomorrowland Terrace band playing the other night.  Okay, let you me tell you that TOMASINA is my new favorite band!  They were awesome and gave us everything and more!  These kids were singing and playing for us that night.  The lead vocalist truly has one of the best voices I've ever heard.  I could have sat there all night.

I believe they have some dates coming up outside the park where they are playing more of their original songs.  (my guess is that they have to play covers in Disneyland.)  I know I will be checking them out.  Who's coming with me?

I'm a big believer in, when you give magic you get magic!  Disney cast members work so hard to ensure that our experiences in the parks are the best they can be.  It angers me when I see other people being rude to the cast members.  Take a moment and smile at the cast members and say thank you!  

I'm loving this new segment and have some great stories about being a cast member that I can't wait to share with you.  

Oh, I didn't get a chance to share this with you on the podcast but I went to Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln for the first time and I LOVED IT!  Do yourself a favor and GO SEE THIS SHOW!  Besides being a great place to get 20 min of a nice cushioned seat and air conditioning, the show itself is really good.  It's amazing to think that its the same show Walt himself directed 60 years ago. If you haven't seen this show or its been a while - GO!
